Testimonials

Aisling, LC Geography Academy Member

Hi Kevin,

Just wanted to say thank you for the Academy lessons. I joined in October of 6th year. I had no teacher in 5th year as she was absent a lot and then left in February. My teacher in sixth year didn't teach the curriculum and didn't seem to know what was expected on the exam paper.

I watched the Powerpoint videos at home and then the whiteboard videos. I found them exceptional. I was well prepared for the exam and wouldn't have been otherwise.

I got a H1 (99%) in the exam

Many thanks,

Aisling

I was struggling with Geography and the amount of content I had to study overwhelmed me. Kevin really simplified it for me though, showing me the exact questions I needed to study. He also made it very easy to study by providing short simplified answers to each question, instead of having to learn off full essays

Frequently Asked Questions

These are questions we are most frequently asked by our students. Feel free to contact us if you have any further queries!

Who are these courses for?

Which course should I do?

Our most comprehensive service is the LC Geography 'Academy'. This allows you to study the entire curriculum at your own pace. Later in the year, you could look at our pre recorded Easter Revision Course which focuses in on the key questions to be aware of for the upcoming Leaving Cert. Again, you can watch this over and over again, allowing you to go at your own pace at times which are convenient to you.

If you prefer a live class and to be able to ask questions in real time, you could look at our Live Revision classes on Zoom that take place later in the year around exams. Due to the overwhelming feedback and success of the LC Geography Academy, we discontinued our 1 to 1 grinds. Customers felt that given the significantly greater value for money the Academy offers, 1 to 1 grinds were unnecessary. However, those who purchase the Academy and Easter Revision Courses will have 24/7 access to us for any assistance they need

What is the difference between the LC Geography Academy and the Easter Revision Course?

The LC Geography Academy offers an depth breakdown of the entire LC Geography Curriculum. It includes up to 35 hours of content going through every possible question and answer on each chapter.

The Easter Revision Course is a condensed version of the Academy. It is extremely exam focused, going through the key questions and answers for the upcoming Leaving Cert exam.

LC Geography Academy members receive the Easter Revision Course for free.

Can I ask questions afterwards if I run into problems?

Why are your courses the best available?

We have meticulously analysed the curriculum, past exam papers and textbooks in order to design the most efficient system to master the course. This analysis also helps us make calculated predictions for the upcoming Leaving Cert. exam. We ensure that students are not studying and trying to retain information that simply will never come up on the Leaving Cert. Our system is specifically exam focused, centres in on past exam questions, offers simplified plans on how to answer each question, as well gives students a real sense of direction in their study.

The whiteboard analysis videos offer an almost real life teaching and learning experience making it extremely easy to study. They give you the sense of having a real life teacher on demand that you can watch 24/7 at your own pace.

Add in our LCGeography.ie AI Bot, which makes revising and understanding difficult concepts easier than ever before, and you have the most in-depth and advanced revision platform on the market.

Are your Academy and Easter Revision Courses Live or Pre-Recorded?

Our Academy and Easter Revision Course are pre-recorded as we feel this format will be most beneficial to students. As we will be providing you with many 30-mark answers, we want to offer students the chance to pause and rewind in their own time. Also, we have designed our Academy and Easter Revision Course so that they can be used as study tools by students right up to the Leaving Cert exam. With each topic in Physical, Regional, the Human Elective and Geoecology split into their own individual videos, students will easily be able to access specific content when studying and use this as a study guide.
